SFR Acquired by Orange | Technology M&A Deal

Orange has signed an agreement to acquire SFR, a telecom business in France, for more than $100M. SFR provides mobile and fixed communications services and operates network and customer systems that support France’s digital infrastructure. Orange acquisitions in telecom acquisition aim to scale investment capabilities and strengthen resilient, sovereign, high-performing communications services across French markets. The platform acquisition is structured as a strategic acquisition by a strategic operator, with a multi-year migration program for millions of subscribers and continuity for SFR teams through the start of 2029. The announced technology M&A follows a memorandum of understanding with Altice France as seller, targeting long-term value creation for customers, employees, and partners.
