SFR Acquired by Orange | Technology M&A Deal

Orange has completed the acquisition of SFR, a telecom services business in France, for over $100M. SFR operates mobile and fixed telecommunications networks and serves millions of subscribers, giving Orange a stronger footprint in French telecom and digital infrastructure. Orange acquisitions are designed to expand investment capacity for high-performing, sovereign electronic communications services while supporting network and systems migration across France. The strategic acquisition is structured as a merger acquisition announced with a consortium including Bouygues Telecom and Free–iliad Group, with Orange as the strategic buyer pursuing technology M&A scale and consolidation in Europe.
