Camco Investment Group acquired the 11-story office building at 5300 Memorial Drive in Houston’s Rice Military submarket from Equus Capital Partners. The sale price was not disclosed.
The property totals 153,671 square feet and was renovated in 2019. It is more than 90% leased, providing in-place cash flow, and tenants include a mix of professional users, including U.S. Sen. John Cornyn’s Houston office. JLL brokered the transaction, representing the seller, while its debt advisory arm arranged financing. The building had a $25.7 million appraisal as of January and sits near Memorial Park and Buffalo Bayou Park.
