TEAM Group to Acquire A&J Vacworx for Industrial Services

TEAM Group Inc. has announced the acquisition of 100% of A&J Vacworx Inc., a hydro-excavation and dewatering services provider based in East Gwillimbury, Ontario. A&J was founded in 2005 and serves major utility and infrastructure contractors across Ontario, with services used in gas, hydro, telecommunications, and water infrastructure.

The transaction includes A&J’s hydro excavation equipment assets, dewatering plant assets, and associated real estate through Griffin Group Real Estate Ltd. A&J operates a purpose-built 19-acre facility in Mount Albert, Ontario, with an integrated dewatering and processing plant. Founder James De Ferrari will support the post-closing transition and integration.

TEAM Group says the deal strengthens its Industrial Services platform by expanding hydro excavation capabilities, adding dewatering and processing for vertical integration, and leveraging operational and procurement synergies within its existing industrial and facilities management operations.
