AmSurg Acquired by Ascension | Healthcare M&A Deal

Ascension has agreed to acquire AmSurg, a ambulatory surgery business in Missouri, for $3 billion. Ascension acquisitions are aimed at scaling outpatient surgical capacity through AmSurg’s network of 250 ASCs and related ambulatory surgery services. The St. Louis-based strategic acquisition supports growth in ambulatory care and strengthens Ascension’s position among leading ASC operators. The healthcare M&A is structured as a platform acquisition and remains pending, with the strategic acquisition valued at over $100M and expected to close after regulatory review.
