Eurobio Scientific to Acquire CareDx Lab Products Division

Eurobio Scientific has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the “Lab Products” division of CareDx, a US precision medicine company focused on transplantation. The deal is aimed at expanding growth and innovation in transplantation diagnostics, and it accelerates Eurobio’s strategic plan to become a leader in in vitro molecular diagnostics (IVD).

The Lab Products portfolio is described as complementary to Eurobio’s HLA typing and transplantation diagnostic capabilities. The combined offering brings GenDx expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS), software, and global commercial presence together with CareDx’s HLA typing kits and post-transplantation monitoring products and customer service. The integration is intended to strengthen GenDx’s presence across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific and support both research and clinical laboratories.
