CLI Acquired by AD Ports | Logistics M&A Deal

AD Ports has acquired a controlling stake in CLI, a logistics other business in Brazil, for US$835 million. CLI operates port logistics infrastructure at the Port of Itaqui in Maranhão and the Port of Santos in São Paulo, supporting cargo handling and supply-chain services. AD Ports acquisitions aim to expand its logistics M&A footprint in Brazil through a platform acquisition of an independent operator with established terminal exposure. The strategic acquisition is structured as a platform deal with AD Ports as a strategic buyer, while sellers include IG4 Capital and Macquarie Asset Management, and completion is subject to regulatory and antitrust approvals.
