Henry Ford Health Acquires Cornerstone Medical Group

Henry Ford Health, a Detroit-based health system, acquired Clinton Township, Mich.-based Cornerstone Medical Group effective April 1. Cornerstone operates 25 offices in the Detroit area offering family and internal medicine, pediatrics, endocrinology, hospitalist care, podiatry, and colorectal surgery.

More than 80 physicians and advanced practice providers joined Henry Ford’s network. The clinicians also participate in the Mosaic Clinically Integrated Network, which includes more than 5,000 providers across 13 Michigan counties. Cornerstone Medical Group physicians became part of the Henry Ford Medical Group under the clinical partner category, expanding the care model and provider network.
