ESO Solutions Acquires d2i for Emergency Intelligence

ESO Solutions, a data services and software company serving fire departments, EMS, hospitals, and government agencies, has acquired d2i, a healthcare performance improvement company. d2i converts fragmented EMR, revenue cycle management, scheduling, and patient experience data into operationally actionable insights for emergency departments and hospitals.

ESO’s stated goal is to build end-to-end emergency intelligence across the emergency lifecycle, from community risk and dispatch through prehospital, emergency department, hospital, and post-acute care. ESO also highlighted its existing EMS interoperability solution and partnerships with more than 3,000 hospitals, and said d2i supports more than 60 million hospital encounters and manages 10 billion data points in its warehouse.
