Constellation Software has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority interest in Derbysoft Holdings Limited, an enterprise software business in Canada. Constellation Software acquisitions through its Vela Software operating group focus on mission-critical vertical market applications, and Derbysoft Holdings supports enterprise software needs for customers. The Derbysoft Holdings acquisition expands Constellation’s technology M&A portfolio in the enterprise software segment and strengthens its add on acquisition strategy. The strategic acquisition is structured as an add on acquisition within Vela Software, with completion subject to customary closing conditions and agreement terms.
