Stoneshield Capital has acquired Exolum, a logistics other business in Spain, for $100 billion. Exolum is a global energy logistics operator providing transportation, storage, and distribution of refined products, bulk liquids, and aviation fuels, with a 4,000km pipeline network in Spain and an additional 2,000km network in the UK. The company also runs 68 storage terminals with more than 11 million cubic metres of capacity and serves over 48 airports worldwide, including Heathrow and Charles de Gaulle, supporting resilient cash flows tied to energy transition infrastructure. Stoneshield Capital acquisitions include an add on acquisition of a 15% stake from OMERS, while a separate global investment firm acquires the remaining portion of OMERS’ stake, with terms not disclosed and the deal announced in May 2026.
