Cencora to Buy EyeSouth Partners Retina Business for $1.1B

Cencora has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the retina business of EyeSouth Partners for $1.1 billion. After closing, EyeSouth Partners’ affiliated retina physicians will join Cencora’s Retina Consultants of America (RCA), a physician-centered management services organization.

Cencora expects the acquisition to be slightly accretive, net of financing costs, to its adjusted diluted EPS in the first 12 months after closing. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
