Announced
Financial ServicesPlatform

Deal Overview

Valinor, a startup founded by former Blackstone staffers Connor Dougherty and Lily Yarborough, raised $25 million in a seed round to put private credit on the blockchain. The round was led by Castle Island Ventures and included the crypto arm of Susquehanna, Maven11, and the founders of TeraWulf.

The company aims to use blockchain technology to make private credit lending more efficient, including replacing manual, rules-based workflows with smart contracts that automatically route funds based on conditions. Valinor said it has already used blockchain to spin up loans for a handful of fintech and crypto companies and plans to deploy the new capital to issue more loans and hire more staff.
