Ona Therapeutics has completed the acquisition of Ona Therapeutics, a pharmaceuticals business in Barcelona, for $86.6 million. Ona Therapeutics is a global biopharmaceutical company developing first-in-class antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for treatment-resistant cancers, with lead programs ONA-255 in breast cancer and ONA-389 in colorectal cancer. The company’s ADC pipeline aims to improve therapeutic index and expand clinical development toward clinical proof of concept and first-in-human studies. The closed other acquisition financing is structured as a Series B round, supporting Ona’s transition to clinical-stage operations and key clinical and regulatory milestones, with new investors co-leading alongside existing shareholders.
