Symvess is an acellular tissue engineered vessel product used in extremity vascular trauma, supporting medical devices acquisition in healthcare. Humacyte’s bioengineered human tissue platform aims to expand access for surgeons treating military veterans through a strategic acquisition contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Durham, NC. The other acquisition is a strategic acquisition under the Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) Surgical Implant – Next Generation sourcing vehicle, covering 170 VA hospitals and accelerating approvals via surgical committee vetting. Deal size is under $10M, with contract value disclosed as $0.1 million and $0.5 million components, and the strategic acquisition supports broader healthcare M&A positioning.
