Hatcher Insurance Acquires Level 3 Benefit Advisors

Orlando-based Hatcher Insurance Group, part of Unison Risk Advisors, has acquired Level 3 Benefit Advisors, a benefits firm founded in 2021 and based in Winter Park. Founder Tom McGaffic will join Hatcher and lead the benefits practice and additional acquisitions.

Hatcher also announced it is relocating its headquarters from College Park to the Dr. Phillips Charities building in Orlando’s Packing District. The 10,000-square-foot office is intended to support planned growth to more than 60 employees later in the year. Hatcher serves personal and commercial lines and benefits, and it has expanded through acquisitions and organic growth, including a 2025 acquisition of Jamerson-McLean Corp.
