MarkForged Acquired by Stratasys | Manufacturing M&A Deal

Stratasys has acquired MarkForged, a industrial equipment business in the additive manufacturing sector, for $42.5 million. Stratasys acquisitions target MarkForged, a Digital Forge platform provider for fused filament fabrication and continuous carbon fiber parts used in aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial applications. The MarkForged acquisition expands Stratasys’ production-grade 3D printing capabilities with software for simulation, automated print optimization, and remote printing workflows. The strategic acquisition is structured as an add on acquisition, expected to close in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, and is designed to broaden materials and distribution for manufacturing M&A scale-up.
