Northgate Resorts Acquires MV Family Campground

Northgate Resorts, operating under Northgate Holdings, has acquired Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground in Tisbury. The campground is described as the island’s only family campground, with 180 campsites and dozens of cabins and RV sites, located at 569 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road.

Northgate’s general counsel said the purchasing agreement was already in place when longtime operator Dan Feeney died last month, and the company is not planning changes for the upcoming summer season. The acquisition is framed as part of a broader pattern of family-owned local businesses shuttering or changing hands.
