Favelle Favco has completed its acquisition of French crane manufacturer Seram Industries SAS in a cash transaction. The deal value was agreed to be between €7.5 million and €10 million.

Seram is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marec Industrie SAS. The company specialises in hydraulic balancing crane systems aimed at improving energy efficiency and lifting performance, and it also installs and maintains cranes and conveyor systems for waste treatment facilities. For the year ended Dec 31, 2024, Seram reported net profit of €1.76 million on revenue of €18.75 million.

Favelle Favco said the acquisition broadens its product range and supports expansion into more automated and specialised heavy lifting equipment, funded using internally generated funds.
