White Lodging to Acquire Sheraton Raleigh Hotel

White Lodging announced it will acquire the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, a 353-room property in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, within walking distance of the Raleigh Convention Center. White Lodging will also manage the hotel after the acquisition.

The company expects to complete a comprehensive renovation of guest rooms and public areas, expand meeting space, and update food and beverage concepts. The renovation is expected to begin in early 2027, alongside a brand evolution from Sheraton to Westin. White Lodging said the investment supports its growth strategy spanning premium urban development, strategic acquisitions, and select third-party management agreements.

White Lodging described this as its first acquisition in Raleigh and noted its existing North Carolina footprint, including the JW Marriott Charlotte and about 60 other properties across 17 markets.
