Six Solar Power Plants Acquired by Kyivstar | Energy M&A Deal

Announced
EnergyAdd-on

Deal Overview

Kyivstar has completed the acquisition of Six Solar Power Plants, a renewable energy business in Ukraine’s Lviv region, for $80.8 million. Kyivstar acquisitions add six solar power plants to its generation portfolio, totaling 105 MW of installed capacity and about 113 GWh of electricity produced. The solar assets support Kyivstar’s strategy to diversify energy sources for its telecom operations by supplying power to Ukraine’s unified energy system under market and green tariff rules. The renewable energy acquisition is structured as an add on acquisition and is part of Kyivstar’s broader energy M&A program, following a prior 13 MW solar purchase in December 2025. The strategic acquisition expands Kyivstar’s green generation to 118 MW and is announced as a $50M–$100M deal size range.
