IonQ to Acquire SkyWater Technology for $35.00/Share

IonQ has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SkyWater Technology for $35.00 per share in a cash-and-stock transaction. The deal is expected to close in the second or third quarter of 2026, subject to SkyWater shareholder approval, regulatory clearances, and customary closing conditions.

SkyWater reported record revenues of $442.1 million for fiscal 2025, with 29% year-over-year growth driven primarily by the acquisition of Fab 25. The company also reported eight commercial Advanced Technology Services engagements with quantum computing companies at year-end, and quantum-related ATS revenues increased by over 30% in fiscal 2025.
