HIVE Digital Technologies Acquired | Technology M&A Deal

HIVE Digital Technologies acquisition has completed the acquisition of BUZZ High Performance Computing Inc., a data analytics and high-performance computing business in Ontario, for $46 million. BUZZ HPC is building industrial-scale sovereign AI infrastructure in the Greater Toronto Area to support vertically integrated AI supercomputers and large-scale GPU deployments, strengthening compute capacity for enterprise and public sector AI applications. The planned 320 MW AI gigafactory in the Toronto-Waterloo innovation corridor is intended to accelerate domestic AI adoption and enable low-latency access for research, systems engineering, and technology customers. This technology M&A transaction is categorized as other acquisition, with additional land purchase of $12 million for a contiguous 21-acre main parcel plus adjacent 4-acre site, targeting online availability in the second half of 2027.
