TES Group Acquired by Legrand in Water Tech Deal

Legrand has acquired TES Group, the Cookstown-based water and data-centre power technology engineering company. The business specialises in critical infrastructure, including low-voltage power distribution equipment for data centres and TES Water engineering services for UK and Ireland utility companies.

TES was backed by Foresight Group starting in 2024, and the article says Foresight exited after just two years with a fourfold return on investment. During Foresight’s ownership period, TES expanded to around 300 staff across manufacturing sites in Cookstown and Derry, and added capacity via a TES power data centre campus at Ballykelly in Co Derry.
