Tractive Acquired by Bending Spoons | Technology M&A Deal

Bending Spoons has completed the acquisition of Tractive, a data analytics business in Austria, for $500 million. Tractive, headquartered in Pasching, develops GPS-enabled wearable devices and pet health monitoring apps that combine location tracking, cellular connectivity, and analytics for pet owners. Bending Spoons acquisitions aim to expand Tractive’s health and safety capabilities and accelerate next-generation device development using proprietary technology. The strategic acquisition is structured as an add-on acquisition, with Bending Spoons planning significant long-term investment in Tractive’s product accessibility and global growth. Legal and financial advisors included Milbank LLP, E+H Rechtsanwälte GmbH, 42law, Ecovis, and Houlihan Lokey, with closing completed after a March 2026 definitive agreement.
