Deal Overview

Vinyl Group has completed its acquisition of Val Morgan Digital for $10.5 million, consisting of $7 million in cash and $3.5 million in shares. The deal brings Val Morgan Digital’s digital audience scale and licensing portfolio into Vinyl.

Val Morgan Digital generated $10.7 million in revenue in 2025, up 73%, and the combined business is expected to contribute $2.5 million in annualised EBITDA. The acquisition adds ANZ licences for BuzzFeed, Fandom, LADbible Group, and Vox Media to Vinyl’s existing entertainment and news portfolio. HOYTS Group CEO Damian Keogh joins Vinyl’s board as a non-executive director.
