Ensurise to Merge with WSMT Insurance in Mid-Atlantic

Independent insurance advisory firm Ensurise LLC and WSMT Insurance have announced a merger effective March 31, 2026. The tie-up is positioned as further consolidation of independent agency capacity in the Mid-Atlantic.

Ensurise, formed in 2014, has grown through mergers and acquisitions with independent agencies in the Greater Washington and Mid-Atlantic region, using a partnership model that keeps local brands and leadership while adding shared infrastructure. WSMT Insurance is an independent agency writing personal and commercial lines across Maryland and the broader tri-state area.

The combined platform is described as pairing Ensurise’s high-growth advisory approach with WSMT’s established Maryland agency portfolio and leadership team.
