Michelin Completes Flexitallic Acquisition for Joints

Michelin has finalized its acquisition of Flexitallic after obtaining all required approvals. Flexitallic is based in Houston, Texas, and is described as a global leader in high-performance gaskets used in energy and chemical industry applications.

Flexitallic operates 17 sites worldwide and manufactures a range of composite gaskets and sealing components. The company employs about 1,200 people and reported about $220 million in revenue in 2025. Michelin says the acquisition expands its presence in the gasket market and improves access to aftermarket opportunities, including through a larger global portfolio.
