Goonhilly Earth Station Acquired by Intuitive Machines | Technology M&A Deal

Intuitive Machines has acquired Goonhilly Earth Station, a technology other business in the United Kingdom, for $15M. Goonhilly Earth Station Ltd. and Goonhilly USA Inc. (dba COMSAT) provide lunar and deep-space communications services using major ground station assets and antenna infrastructure. The acquisition expands Intuitive Machines acquisitions by adding Goonhilly’s Lunar and Deep Space Communications, Commercial Satcom, and Defense and Security divisions to its integrated space-to-ground network. As a strategic add on acquisition, the technology M&A is expected to strengthen communications, data transport, and position, navigation and timing (PNT) capabilities for sustained lunar and cislunar operations, with expanded visibility across key Earth-viewing arcs.
