JJ Restaurant Acquired by Collins Foods | Consumer M&A Deal

Collins Foods has completed the acquisition of JJ Restaurant, a restaurant franchise business in Bavaria, for $36.08m. Collins Foods acquisitions add eight KFC restaurants in and around Munich, expanding the consumer restaurant franchise footprint in Germany. JJ Restaurant operates KFC locations under franchise arrangements, supporting Collins Foods’ strategic acquisition plan to scale in its second key growth market. The add on acquisition is a strategic acquisition by a strategic buyer, expected to close between May and June 2026, subject to conditional approval from KFC parent Yum! Brands. Collins Foods acquisitions also expand Germany development agreements, targeting 45 to 90 new KFC openings over the next four years across Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Bavaria.
