Deal Overview

Agile Robots, a Munich-based humanoid and industrial automation startup, has acquired Krause Automation assets as part of its latest expansion. The deal is described as enabling Agile to tap new sectors and extend market reach into North America.

The acquired business is expected to operate going forward as Krause Automation. Founder and CEO Zhaopeng Chen said the acquisition combines Agile Robots’ AI-powered automation solutions with more than 75 years of engineering and implementation expertise, reinforcing an end-to-end offering from early planning through plant integration.
