Natoma Acquired by Snowflake | Technology M&A Deal

Snowflake has acquired Natoma, a enterprise software business in California, for $6 billion. Snowflake acquisitions aim to expand enterprise AI agent adoption by adding Natoma’s Model Context Protocol governance and identity layer for AI agents. Natoma helps enterprises oversee AI system interactions and manage agent permissions, supporting agentic enterprise workflows alongside Snowflake analytics platforms. The add on acquisition is part of broader technology M&A as Snowflake, a public company acquisition, committed $6 billion to AWS infrastructure over five years, including AWS Graviton processors and AI compute for data and AI workloads.
