Natoma Acquired by Snowflake | Technology M&A Deal

Snowflake has completed the acquisition of Natoma, a enterprise software business in California. Natoma provides a Model Context Protocol platform that securely connects AI agents to enterprise systems, applications, APIs, and tools. Snowflake acquisitions like this are aimed at extending governance and identity controls from data assets to AI-driven actions and workflows inside secure Snowflake environments. The strategic add on acquisition is paired with a multi-year $6 billion AWS infrastructure commitment, including Graviton compute and AI services, to support production-scale generative and agentic AI on AWS. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Snowflake positioned the Natoma acquisition as a way to manage agent tool access with enterprise governance.
