NCS Multistage Acquired by Weatherford | Energy M&A Deal

Weatherford has acquired NCS Multistage, a oilfield services business in the completions and unconventional resource space, for $15 million. NCS Multistage provides multistage completion services and related downhole technologies used to improve well performance in shale and other unconventional plays. Weatherford acquisitions in oilfield services aim to expand its completions portfolio and strengthen its presence in North American unconventional resource development. The NCS Multistage acquisition is an add on acquisition and strategic acquisition by a strategic buyer, with deal value reported in the $10M–$25M range and an announced status pending definitive closing.
