Resmed has completed the acquisition of Noctrix Health, a medical devices business in the U.S., for $340 million. Resmed acquires Noctrix Health to add a noninvasive restless legs syndrome treatment device to its healthcare portfolio, leveraging Nidra’s nerve stimulation approach. Noctrix Health’s de novo authorized product is delivered through the same home and durable medical equipment channels used for Resmed’s CPAP, APAP, and bilevel therapies, supporting a strategic acquisition and add on acquisition thesis. The Noctrix Health acquisition is a strategic acquisition and add on acquisition within healthcare M&A, with Noctrix Health reporting an annual revenue run rate of about $24 million. Resmed acquisitions aim to expand market access and reimbursement while investing in R&D, sales, and marketing to scale the early-stage device.
