KNDS France Completes Texelis Defense Acquisition

KNDS France has completed its acquisition of Texelis Defense, bringing a vehicle mobility systems supplier fully in-house. The deal converts Texelis Defense into KNDS Mobility, adding expertise in drivetrains and mobility solutions for both wheeled and tracked military vehicles.

The acquisition follows a process that began in January 2025 with a memorandum of understanding. Operations at Texelis sites in Limoges and Roanne continue under the new structure, with teams and existing contracts maintained. KNDS France CEO Nicolas Groult said the move consolidates autonomy over critical systems and supports growing customer needs.
