MYR Group has acquired Valley Electric and Comet Electric, a electrical contracting business in the Western U.S., for $328 million. Valley Electric and Comet Electric provide electrical installation and related services for industrial and commercial customers across their service territories, supporting MYR Group’s electrical contracting capabilities. MYR Group acquisitions in the region strengthen project delivery capacity and expand customer access in key Western markets. The strategic acquisition is an add-on acquisition within MYR Group’s Industrials M&A strategy, with the $328 million deal announced and expected to close subject to customary conditions.
