Inox Clean Energy has completed the acquisition of Vena Energy India, a renewable energy business in India, for about US$585 million. Vena Energy India’s portfolio includes roughly 1GW of operational renewable capacity plus 1.7GW of solar and wind projects in advanced development, with an additional 2.7GW pipeline across solar and wind. The platform acquisition also brings about 1.2GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in advanced stages, supporting Inox Clean Energy’s growth in solar-plus-storage and energy M&A. Inox Clean Energy acquisitions are structured as a strategic acquisition and platform acquisition, with deal size reported in the US$10M–US$25M range and an announced status; terms and closing timeline were not specified.
