AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquired by Greenbriar

AIT Worldwide Logistics has been sold to Greenbriar Equity Group in a major private acquisition in global freight forwarding. The article describes Greenbriar’s $15bn cumulative capital commitments and more than 25 years investing in transportation and logistics firms.

The deal follows a five-year partnership with The Jordan Company, L.P. (TJC). TJC and key members of AIT’s executive leadership team will remain invested. Over the TJC period, AIT expanded its global footprint, acquired 14 businesses, and increased gross revenue by more than 300%.

Closing is expected before Q4 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
