BioProtect Acquired by Olympus | Healthcare M&A Deal

Olympus has acquired BioProtect, a medical devices business in the urologic balloon spacer sub-sector in the United States, for $270M. BioProtect develops balloon spacer technology used in urology procedures to help improve positioning and reduce exposure to surrounding tissue during treatment.
