Brookfield to Acquire 85% of Boralex

Brookfield Asset Management, together with institutional partners including Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. (TSX:BEP.UN) and La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire an 85% stake in Boralex.

The deal is framed as a controlling majority investment in a renewable-energy platform, aligning Brookfield’s renewable focus with Boralex’s operating footprint.
