Capital Advisors Acquired by Corient | Financial Services M&A Deal

Corient has acquired Capital Advisors, a wealth management ria business in Oklahoma, for $7.8 billion. Corient acquisitions expand its private partnership model by adding Capital Advisors, an employee-owned RIA founded in 1978 and led by CEO Keith Goddard and President Andy Brown. Capital Advisors provides customized financial planning and investment management for families and institutions, with a team of 47 financial professionals and a presence across Oklahoma, Texas, and six additional states. This add on acquisition is a strategic acquisition in financial services M&A, giving Corient its first Oklahoma office and strengthening South and Southwest client assets. Corient acquisitions are expected to close later this quarter, with Capital Advisors principals becoming Corient Partners upon completion.
