CopterSafety Acquired by MML Keystone for Expansion

MML Keystone has acquired CopterSafety, described as Europe’s largest independent helicopter full-flight simulator training provider. The transaction will fund capacity expansion and the establishment of new training locations, with CopterSafety’s management team continuing to lead the business and retain equity ownership alongside MML Keystone.

CopterSafety is Helsinki-based and operates five full flight simulators for light-medium and medium helicopter platforms. The company generates about 95% of sales internationally from its facility near Helsinki-Vantaa airport and provides mandatory recurrent training to professional helicopter operators globally.

The acquisition is from Sentica Partners, which backed CopterSafety since 2015. CopterSafety holds approvals from EASA, the FAA, the UK CAA, and Transport Canada, among other civil aviation authorities.
