Willis Towers Watson has completed the acquisition of Cushon, a financial services other business in the UK. Willis Towers Watson acquisitions add the Cushon workplace pension and savings platform to its UK defined contribution master trust offering, expanding LifeSight’s reach across market segments. Cushon provides workplace pensions and savings through payroll-integrated technology for employers and savers, supporting pension and ISA contributions via a mobile app. The strategic acquisition is an add on acquisition that strengthens WTW’s position among UK master trust providers, with Cushon expected to complement LifeSight for middle-market growth. The deal closed after regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority, and a referral agreement with NatWest Group remains in place for NatWest corporate clients.
