Redwood Logistics Acquires Laredo Broker EELCO

Redwood Logistics has acquired EELCO, a Laredo, Texas-based customs brokerage and warehousing provider. The deal is intended to strengthen Redwood’s cross-border logistics platform as U.S.-Mexico supply chains become more complex.

EELCO brings more than 30 years of customs and logistics experience along the southern border and operates a 250,000-square-foot warehouse and Foreign Trade Zone facility in Laredo. Redwood Mexico, Redwood Logistics’ cross-border shipping arm, previously offered customs brokerage through partners before moving to own and operate the service.
