Deal Overview

ING Bank Śląski has completed the acquisition of Goldman Sachs TFI, a wealth management ria business in Poland, for $95 million. ING Bank Śląski acquisitions expand its asset management footprint through Goldman Sachs TFI, which manages open mutual funds across asset classes and dedicated investment portfolios for more than 778,000 clients. The target holds about a 12% market share in Polish capital market mutual funds, with assets under management of roughly PLN 56 billion, supporting ING’s wealth management ria acquisition strategy in Poland. The financial services M&A deal is a strategic acquisition and an add on acquisition, where ING Bank Śląski acquires the remaining 55% stake to reach 100% ownership and rename the firm to ING TFI.
