Deal Overview
Common Thread Hotels and its affiliate PRG Investment & Management announced the acquisition of Hotel Joaquin, a luxury boutique hotel in Laguna Beach, California. The deal is an add-on for Common Thread’s hotel portfolio.
Hotel Joaquin has 22 guestrooms and includes a bar and a saltwater pool, located about a two-minute walk from Shaw’s Cove. The property completed an extensive redesign led by interior designer Robert McKinley in 2019.
Common Thread said the acquisition brings its portfolio to 10 hotels, plus an 11th property in pre-development in downtown Paso Robles.
