Deal Overview

AMETEK has agreed to acquire Indicor Instrumentation, a industrial services other business in the United States, for $5.0 billion. AMETEK acquisitions add a portfolio of mission-critical instrumentation businesses that design and manufacture industrial and scientific solutions with recurring revenue from consumables, services, and aftermarket support. The Indicor Instrumentation acquisition strengthens AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group and Electromechanical Group through complementary technologies and market positions. This platform acquisition is an all-cash strategic acquisition by a strategic buyer, funded via borrowings under its credit facility and new debt issuance, and is expected to close in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
