T1 Energy has acquired KORE Power, a energy services other business in Texas, for $32 million. T1 Energy acquires KORE Power to expand into BESS (battery energy storage systems) and AI data center infrastructure through KORE’s NRI division, which designs, delivers, installs, and operates utility-scale energy storage solutions. KORE Power supports industrial hyperscaler development with software and controls developed domestically, with about 1,100 BESS projects deployed worldwide and decades of work for U.S. Government, national labs, utilities, and developers. The energy M&A is an add-on acquisition by a strategic buyer, with an enterprise value made up of about $32 million of equity, cash, and assumed debt, expected to close in Q2 2026 and rebrand KORE Power as T1 NRI.
