Deal Overview

Stratasys has acquired Markforged, a enterprise software business in Minnesota, for $42.5 million. Stratasys acquisitions aim to expand industrial 3D printing capabilities by adding Markforged’s end-to-end fused filament fabrication (FFF) platform, The Digital Forge, which combines hardware, in-house materials, and secure software for simulation, part management, and automated print optimization. Markforged’s Continuous Carbon Fiber technology supports aerospace and defense manufacturing use cases, strengthening Stratasys’ position in production-grade additive manufacturing at scale in Minnetonka and Rehovot. The strategic acquisition is an all-cash platform acquisition valued at $42.5 million, expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions, with guidance to be updated after completion.
